“ Amazing steak, average (starter) calamari, wonderful cosy place. ”
“ We spotted this place from our AirBnB and thought it looked cool. We were impressed by what we saw when we arrived—lots of people, locals vibe, and the people there seemed like they knew why they were there. But at 8 am on a Sat night we were disappointed to hear they were very busy and couldn’t serve us until 10pm, so we walked back down the hill to the waterfront and found nothing that looked comparable except some cold beer, so by 9:40 we still hadn’t eaten and went back up to Il Torrione and had one of the best meals all week. The service was fast, the atmosphere lively, and the food protein-rich. The anchovies appetizer and grilled pepper slices were divine. We ordered the steak and it was perfectly rare and tender and huge. The pasta with lobster was actually lobster with a little bit of pasta. There were seven of us and we shared family style—highly recommended. Also ordered pasta with pesto and the gnocchi in a creamy sauce. So good. Had desserts to go around. And all for a great price. Go there if it’s your birthday. They’ll play the Happy Birthday song and everyone can sing along. Definitely make reservations. If you’re in this town, this is THE place to eat. Thank you to the Il Torrione owners and staff—you made our evening! ”

“ So being english and in a town where little people speak English (not a moan I love it) we found this absolute jewel....after scouring the area nothing looked apetising so onto good old google to find somewhere to eat......so where do I start....lovely friendly people absolutely sublime food cooked all over coals....this place is not to be missed....a little tricky to find but once here its worth the walk uphill or simply park in the large parking area. I would definitely go again contemplating extending trip to go here again tomorrow. Absolutely lovely. Grazie Mille ”
“ Food and service is super great. Nice sweet people and fresh food. (By the way at the restaurant works all the family. You can feel it, the approach is so different ). We tool grilled fish and warm salat frutti di mare..all was very good. Prices are average for the zone: 15-20 Europe’s for antipasti/primi/secondi. Many people took meat.seems that is a good place for meet as well. Highly recommend! ”

“ The entry with the ham where you make the cuts yourself was delicious. The fried fresh mushrooms was the best ones I've ever tasted! The little olives from local producers was amazing! All the workers are very polite and very happy to serve you! Thanks guys! As the main course we took the Costata, we were in three and one would be OK, but we took two because it was so delicious that we needed to get more! ”
